WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Grace Elmore Truett, 81 will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of Tri-County, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC 29210.
Mrs. Truett was known to have a servant’s heart and was very dedicated to serving the Lord. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grace was predeceased by her husband, James E. Truett. She is survived by daughters, Regina Ayers of Lexington and Renee T. Dennis of West Columbia; grandchildren, Chasity Florence (Billy) of Gaston, Jeremiah Endsley (Angela) of Lexington, Chris Dennis of Gaston, Mark Dennis (April) of West Columbia, Jennifer Hagins (Bryan) of Lexington and Jamie Ayers of Lexington; nine great-grandchildren and two more on the way and her sister, Betty Jenkins of Swansea.
