Iris Mae Wike Williamson of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1942 in Columbia, SC to the late Gleeson Daniel Wike and Jessie Mae Dickerson Wike.
Mrs. Williamson was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Lee Gene Williamson, and sisters, Ruth Wike Miller and Ann Leola Wike Crout.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy “Wendy” Gerringer (Tony L. Gerringer) of Sandy Run, SC and Cindy Lea Sutphin (Dwight Sutphin) of Gaston, SC.
Iris had a full life of 82 years and enjoyed vacationing with family, karaoke, and bowling. She loved her fur babies and was very much an animal advocate. She loved the veterans and military.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place after the services at Southland Memorial Gardens.
