LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Jacqueline H. King, 82, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with burial to follow at First Baptist Church of Gaston
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are, Bobby Davis, Ronnie Davis, Jr., Brandon Shull, Larry Sturkie, Rob Tager and Jamie Whitten. Honorary Pallbearers are Ronnie Eddings and Andrew Miller.
Mrs. King was born March 10, 1932 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Horace Ray Glenn and Pearly Spires. She was raised by Bubba and Rachel Glenn along with her sister. She was a Hair Dresser and owned her own Beauty Salon. She loved her family and grandchildren dearly.
Mrs. King is survived by her husband, J.L. “Boss” King; daughters, Patricia Jeffcoat, Terri King Shealy and Gwen King Shull; son, Ronnie Davis all of Lexington; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sons, Tommy Davis and Ray Davis; brother, Billy Ray Glenn and sister, Dorothy Glenn Coble.
