COLUMBIA – Funeral services for James Harold Ford, 67, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with inurnment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:30 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Mr. Ford was born January 14, 1952 in Mullins, SC, and passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was a son of the late Maude Graves and Wilton Murphy Ford. Mr. Ford was the owner of A.S.H. Towing and Transport and a volunteer fireman at Ballentine Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Baker Ford; daughter, Ashlee Browder (Daron Noel) of Irmo; son, David Ford (Irene) of Lexington; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Ava Noel of Irmo, and Emily and Daniel Ford of Lexington; brother, Danny Ford of Belvedere and sister, Betsy Bertram of White Rock.
