WEST COLUMBIA – A visitation will be held for James “Jim” Thomas Neal, 60, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Midlands Chapter, Blue Star Mothers, P. O. Box 2364, Lexington, SC 29071.
Mr. Neal was born August 9, 1952 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was a son of the late Benjamin O. Neal, Jr. and Viola Lorick Neal. Mr. Neal was a loving and devoted husband and father who enjoyed a long, successful career in the construction industry. He was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed golf.
Mr. Neal is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jackie Neal; sons, Tommy Neal (Jennifer), Tripp Neal (Melissa); brothers, Dan Neal (Teri), Mike Neal (Shirley); niece, Kelly Neal and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Tim Neal.
