He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed life and laughter and an avid fisherman. He was a man of faith with a strong belief in God and was an active member of West Columbia Church of Christ. He worked as a home inspector, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Mr. Sheppard is survived by his wife, Debbie Sheppard of West Columbia; son, Ryan Sheppard (Savannah) of Lexington; daughter, Kaitlyn Brown (Jordan) of Pelion; grandchildren, Luke and Lily Sheppard; sister, Marianne Brazell (Larry) of Laurens and brother, Jimmy Sheppard of Gaston.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens.
