I worked with Jeanne in 1971-1976 at W.T. Grants. She was such a loving woman. She taught me a lot in retail. She was the only one that really really cared. I did see her in Bluefield K-mart years ago. I was so blessed to have her as a mentor and as a friend. Rest in peace Jeanne. Prayers to all the family.

Frankie, John and James. So sorry to read of your Mom's passing. We remember her and your Dad and grandfather so well. What wonderful people they were and always so welcoming . Roger built your Dad’s workshop behind the house many years ago in Bluefield. And, how much she enjoyed the children she cared for when she did child care in her home, especially her granddaughter. Our sincere condolences to your entire family as I know how much she will be missed. Roger and Donna Kirk

You were one of the biggest influences in my life. I will never forget the many prayers you prayed over me, the work ethic you gave me at an early age working with your daycare, and how you taught me French. I will never forget the love you showed me even though I was not blood related to you. You are and will always be mamaw to me. I am so thankful that you taught me about having a relationship with Christ and took me to church. You will never know until I meet you again in heaven what you meant to me and how you influenced me. Je t'aime pour toujours!
