August 2, 1992 – July 31, 2015
Jeffrey Allen Pardue, “The Magic Man,” went back to his Father in Heaven, Friday, July 31, 2015.
Jeff was a talented young man, loved by many, who loved to amaze and entertain. He was well known in the greater Columbia area and Rockhill area, having performed for many parities, festivals, schools and at local restaurants. He became interested in magic after following one of his older brothers, also a magician, during his high school days. Jeff began making balloon art and sculptures as well and moved into performing full-time. He learned many other unique performing talents such as stilt walking and juggling. Jeff was the president of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, Ring #105 in Columbia, SC. He was very active in sharing his experience to younger magicians and learning from those who had been in the business longer.
Jeff was also a talented musician. He was a member of his high school band in York, SC and played on their drum line. Jeff struggled with reading sheet music, but had an excellent ear and could learn to play his parts after only listening to them a couple of times. Jeff taught himself to play the piano by ear as well. He began to experiment with music notation software, and without formal music training, began to create beautiful music. He has books filled with his music compositions. He would sit for hours listening to classical music demos on an electric piano until he could play them perfectly.
Jeff will be missed by many – his family, friends, and all of the people he brought joy to through his magical and musical talents.
Jeffrey is survived by his father, Robert Dennis Pardue; mother, Cheri Rene Pardue; brother, Shawn Pardue, his wife Lonna, and their boys, Zachary, Brenden, and Parker; Brother, Jeremy Pardue, his wife Kelly, and their children, Logan, Jacey, Ethan, Daisy, and Adley; sister, Shawdra Higley, and her husband Chris, and their children, Aubrey, Jamie, Travis, Celestial, Elijah, and Alyssa; brother Martin Pardue, his wife Brittney, and their boys, Anthony and Quinn; brother, Tim Pardue, his wife Nicole, and their son Jack; sister Maitlyn Franks, her husband Eric, and son, Gabriel.
