LEXINGTON – Funeral service for John C. “Jack” Ringer, 80, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church 209 New Hope Rd, Pomaria, SC or a charity of one’s choice. Mr. Ringer was born April 12, 1935 in Pomaria, SC. and passed away Friday, April 17, 2015. He was a son of the late John J. Ringer and Bertha Amick Ringer. He served our country in the National Guard and was a member of Carolina Drifting Sam’s Club. He retired from All State Insurance where he worked as a Claims Adjuster. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Barfield Ringer of Lexington; daughter, Rene Ringer of Columbia; step-daughter, Paula Whyte of West Columbia; stepson, Edward Crumpton of Lexington; four grandsons; niece, Sandra Hayes (Freddie) and his four legged girls, Bell and Nacho.
He is predeceased by, his brothers, Sam and Harold Ringer.
