PELION – Funeral services for Lyndia M. Dover, 62, will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. Pastor Charlie Stroud will conduct the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012. Mrs. Dover was born in Augusta, GA on April 23, 1949 and went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2012. She was a daughter of Theresa Magreski Mays and the late Fred W. Mays. Lyndia was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was a purchasing manager with Square D.
Lyndia is survived by her son, Wesley Gray of Pelion; daughter, Melissa Duncan of Lexington; daughter, Cynthia Smith (Billy) of Pelion; son, Fred Gray (Kim) of Pelion; son, Harrison Dover, Jr. of Pelion; mother, Theresa M. Mays of Evans, GA; grandchildren, Rachel Duncan, Megan Duncan, Jordan Parnell, Gabrielle Gray, Lyndsay Gray, Mason Gray, Kylee Smith, Taylor Smith, Dalton Smith, Tyler Smith and Hayden Smith; sisters, Cheryl Brown of North Augusta, Kay Killgore of Martinez, GA and uncle, Doug Holland.
