In addition to her parents, Madalyn was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Melvin Dybvik, Grady King of 16 years and her beloved sisters; Erlene McLain and Virginia Morris.
She is survived by three daughters; Melanie Burnett (Bruce), Marla Cohee and Melissa Johnson (Daryl), grandchildren; Maren Martin (Craig), Shana Sorrells (Eric), Brittany Palance (Jonathan), Sarah Johnson (Ryan) and Anna Brittain (Kyle); seven great-grandchildren; her sisters, Barbara Turriqlio and Ann Powers (John) and many special nieces and nephews.
Madalyn enjoyed playing bridge and being with her family.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home -West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. A brief funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel. Committal service and burial will follow at Southland Memorial Gardens.
