A memorial service for Michael Christopher Moore, 55, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
Mr. Moore was born March 6, 1971, in Columbia, SC and passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, after many years on dialysis and many health issues. He was the son of the late Benjamin Allen Moore and Vivian Sweat Moore. Mr. Moore owned a painting and cleaning business.
Mr. Moore is survived by his son, Hunter Evan Moore; sisters, Pamela Shockey Rengering (Jerry) of Irmo, SC, and Tammy Shockey Huffstetler (Tim) of Gaston, SC; brother, William Shockey (Suzette) of Lexington, SC; nieces and nephews; along with numerous cousins including Marion, Cheryl, Neal, Jerry & Keith of Chester Town, MD, and friends.
Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing his whole life. He was a character and always liked to cut up and make a sarcastic remark or two.
