Murray Mason

Murray was a truck driver that specialized in transportation of new vehicles; he also owned a small trucking company for many years. He owned and operated fireworks stands for over five decades. He was in the Navy and a proud two-time Vietnam Veteran. His favorite sport he loved and enjoyed watching was NASCAR.

Murray is survived by his son, Bryan Mason and wife, Lisa Mason; granddaughter, Jenny Mason; son, Ray Mason; grandson, Cody Mason; granddaughters, Mya and Meka Mason; great grandchild, Aldin Mason; brother, Donald Mason and daughters, Debbie and Angie; nephew, Mike Mason and nieces, Maria and Terri Mason; nephew, Rick Mason and his children, Brad and Robin; nephew, John Mason; his children, sons, Lee and Dartagnen; daughter, Daylon; grandsons, David, Gavin, Dravin; granddaughter, Leah; niece, Pam Kelm and sons, Evan and Simon; niece, Gayle McCleary and daughter, Isabelle; sons, Zachary and Brandon; niece, Cricket Mason and sons, Aslan and Anakin.

Murray is also survived by his girlfriend of 16 years, Wanda Himelrick and her loving family that he cherished very much; her daughters, Martha (Darrin Starr) and Cynthia Kirk and grandchildren, Samuel Starr, Stephanie Fry, Taylor Hale, Shawn Baker; great grandchildren, Benjamin Fry, Mabel Hale, Anna Leigh Hale and Teagan Hale.

A visitation for Murray will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, South Carolina 29170.
