LEXINGTON - Funeral services for Oscar Gus Soza, 88 will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with entombment in Southland Mausoleum. The family will receive friends after the service in the chapel.
Mr. Soza was born January 10, 1927 in Tucson, AZ and passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015. He was a son of the late Antonio M. Soza and Mercedes Encinas Soza. Mr. Soza owned an Auto Body Shop for many years and was a Master Gardener and provided produce to his community. He was in the Senior Olympics winning over 90 medals. He competed at the local, regional and state level. He was a sprinter, long distance runner, disc thrower and was an avid bowler. He was active in the Senior Center.
Surviving are his son, David A. Soza of Prescott, AZ and sister, Celia Fimbres of Tucson, AZ.
