Pennilee Boone Finan

Throughout her life, Pennilee carried herself with a steady grace—kind-hearted and compassionate in the ways that mattered most, honest and thoughtful in her words, and quietly wise in her counsel. She met life with resilience and bravery, offering patience and gentleness even in difficult seasons, and giving of herself with a selfless generosity that made others feel seen, safe, and valued.

In her earlier years, Pennilee worked hard in every role she took on, including driving a school bus for a time—an everyday responsibility she approached with care and reliability. Pennilee also worked for the United States Post Office. She also spent a period in New Jersey modeling and singing, pursuits that reflected both her adventurous spirit and her love of music.

Music remained a source of joy throughout her life. Pennilee especially enjoyed karaoke, and her sense of humor often shone through in the simple, happy moments shared with family and friends. She also had a devoted love for animals, including horses and dogs, and her faithful, loyal heart was evident in the tenderness she showed to the creatures she cherished. She was also an established artist and painted beautifully.

Pennilee is survived by her son, David C. Warner, Jr. (Crissy); her daughter, Misty Galloway (Andrew); and her son, Jordan Finan. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Rabon; her brother, Timothy "Tim" Boone; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Woodrow and Hazel Boone; her husband, Edwin Finan; and six siblings.

Beloved and cherished, Pennilee leaves a legacy of devotion, compassion, and steady strength—an inspirational presence whose memory will be held close with gratitude.
