Phillip Brian O’Neal, age 50, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born on September 22, 1973 in Lexington, South Carolina to Terry Kelly O’Neal and Phillip O’Neal.
Phillip graduated from Airport High School in 1992 and went on to become a floor covering specialist for O’Neal Carpet, Inc. He was an avid Gamecock fan who loved to go hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents; children, Brianna O’Neal, Adrianna O’Neal, Phillip Brian O’Neal, Jr., and Bristol O’Neal; sisters, Kelly (Robin) Alford and Amy (Chris) Willard; brothers, Jason (Tiffany) O’Neal and Scott (Jamie) O’Neal; as well as many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephew.
He was predeceased by his sister, Becky Rose; and grandparents, James & Marie Knoche and Melvin & Fannie O’Neal, and Collis O. Kelly.
A visitation will be held for Phillip on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Dixiana Baptist Church, 3516 Charleston Hwy, West Columbia, SC 29172, followed by a funeral service at 3:30 PM. A burial will take place after the service at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Vann, Jay Kell, Eddie Hallman, Ricky Way, Jason Crawford, Blair Ulmer, and Phillip Brian O’Neal, Jr.
