As Ray would say, he was taught by the best where he took three great linemen and created one (thanks to his father, his Uncle Glenn Tart and deceased Uncle Bill Tart). He loved fishing and washing his car, but especially fishing.
Ray loved putting a smile on anyone’s face; he really just wanted to be that genuine friend to everybody and to help in any way. He always tried to be there for everyone else. He loved his aggravating girlfriend, Jessica Lewis and her three children and loved driving his sister wild. He just loved everybody.
He is survived by his son, Carson “Gage” Boyer (age 13); his parents and sister, Jennifer Panas.
He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; uncle, William “Bill” Tart and best friends, Bernard Fleming and Josh Prine.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 17 at Southland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends following the service in the Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank Kelley Green “The Boss Man” at Trans-Tel Communications for being the best boss and Lydia Lambert for raising such an amazing kid, our son Gage.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.caughmansouthland.com for the Boyer family.
