CAYCE – A memorial service for Raymond “Ray” C. Branham, Jr., 44, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ray was born May 7, 1970 in Ft. Jackson, SC and passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014. He was the son of Raymond C. and Eleanor Powers Branham. Ray worked as Manager and Cook at Zesto’s Restaurant for 26 years. He loved to fish, especially off shore fishing. Ray always enjoyed playing basketball with his friends. He loved watching the Washington Redskins.
He is survived by his wife, Keli Branham of Cayce; Son, Matthew Griffin of Oklahoma City; Daughter, Nikki Branham of Gaston; sons, Damon Branham of Gaston and Austin Branham of Columbia; stepfather and mother, Richard and Eleanor (Branham) Fitzsimmons of Gaston; brother, Charlie Branham; sisters, Richelle Fitzsimmons and Tracy Hewitt.
