LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Raymond “Bobby” R. Rose, 54, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The service will be conducted by Pastor Tracy McGee. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Suburban Baptist Church, 1700 Holland Street, West Columbia, SC 29169.
Mr. Rose was born September 16, 1961 in Sewickley, PA and passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015. He was a son of Robert L. Rose and the late Carol Mae Grimm Rose. Bobby had a love of music and was a member of many pickup bands.
Surviving are his father of West Columbia; daughter, Abby Rose of West Columbia; granddaughter, Dacey Drigger; of Columbia; brother, Christopher Rose (Emily) of Clayton, NC; sister, Robin L. Schlegel of West Columbia and paternal grandmother, Pauline Rose of Pennsylvania. He was predeceased by his mother; paternal grandfather, Harold Rose and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Mildred Grimm.
