PELION - Robert Lee Ebron, Jr., age 76, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025. Mr. Ebron is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Linda Williams Ebron; four children, Laurie Ebron of Pelion, Susan Bishop (Brian) of West Columbia, Angela Martin (William) of Pelion, and Jason Ebron (Crystal) of Sylva, NC; nine grandchildren, Andrew Ebron, Nicholas Bishop (Kayla), Hunter Bishop, Brianna Leaphart, Dakota Bishop (Raven), Brooklyn Bishop, Benjamin Mabe, Rebbeca Zwisle, and Zachary Zwisle; and two great-grandchildren, Eliana and Angelo.
Mr. Ebron was born June 30, 1948 in Columbia, SC to the late Robert Lee Ebron, Sr. and Edith Louise Cooke Ebron, and was preceded in death by his younger brother, Edward Earl Ebron. Robert was known affectionately as “Bobby” to family and friends. He enjoyed going to the mountains, fishing, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Robert retired from Shaw Industries as a Machine Operator but carried out several side jobs to keep him busy.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Southland Memorial Gardens - Chapel of Hope, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170 at 2:00 pm, with service to follow at 3:00 pm.
