Robert grew up in Columbia and worked as a carpenter for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, playing pool, and spending time with family and friends. He loved his beloved dog, Molly.
He is survived by his older brother, Daniel Frank Leach of Cayce, SC; brother-in-law, James Loop; nieces, Paula Barrett of Cayce, SC, Jamie (Chris) Litrell of Cayce, SC, Amanda Shell of Columbia, SC and Sherry (David) Ray of Columbia, SC; great nieces, Ansley Shell, Ashlynn Ray, Brittany Barrett and Shelby Litrell; great nephews, Landon Shell, Jeremy Barrett and Griffin Litrell.
He is preceded in death by his older sister, Dianne Loop.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC.
