GASTON - Services for Robert Stratton, 72, of Gaston will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with interment in Celestial Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the funeral home.
Robert was born on March 27, 1941 in Darlington County, SC to the late Robert Eugene Stratton and Jettie Atkinson Stratton and passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping and traveling
He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Stratton of Gaston; children, William Stratton (Lori) of Pelion, Judy Lawson of Lexington, Shelia Steele (Mike) of Eastover, Tammy Clement (Jeff) of Irmo; sisters, Rosa Gamble of Lexington, Betty Morgan (Harry) of North Carolina and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
