Roger Dale Engle, 74, of Wagener, South Carolina passed away on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024. He was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina on August 16th, 1949 to the late Anne Faulkenberry and William B. Engle.
Roger was a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army and retired after 30 years of service. He went on to become a Mason for the Cedar Lodge #184.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Potts Engle; five children: Roger Engle II, Barnbas Bignall, Chris Engle, Brad Bignall, and Brandin Bignall; sister-in-law, Martha Engle; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapel of Hope, 820 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 PM at the funeral home, with a burial to follow at Southland Memorial Gardens.
