WEST COLUMBIA – The family of Roland Franklin Ellisor Sr., 75, will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel.
Mr. Ellisor was born November 19, 1936 in Richland County and passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012. He was a son of the late Donnie Franklin and Maggie Irene Meetze Ellisor. Mr. Ellisor was a self-employed contractor and owned Ellisor Home Repair. He was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Chapin. Mr. Ellisor loved fishing and was a very kind man who would do anything for anyone in need. He loved his family.
Mr. Ellisor is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice May Evans Ellisor; children, Cody Charles Ellisor of the home, Roland (Tammy) Ellisor Jr., David (Jeanette) Ellisor, Linda (Karl) Corley, Betty (Steve) Kelly, Mary Lou (Robbie) Amick, and Wanda Metts; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and sisters, Edna, Esther and Georgia. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Victoria and Andrew; sisters, Hilda, Mary and Ruby and brothers, Marvin and Tommy.
