NORTH – A funeral service for Ronald George Goodwin, Sr., 75, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Goodwin was born March 5, 1939 in Spartanburg, SC and passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015. He was the son of the late John W. Goodwin, Sr. and Amelia May Miles Goodwin. He served our country in the US Air Force and was a self-employed independent businessman working in construction, land clearing and import salvage.
Mr. Goodwin is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Faye J. Goodwin; son, Ronald George Goodwin, Jr. (Kandie B); daughter, Anjanette G. Brodie (Brendan M); grandchildren, Ronald George Goodwin, III, Grayson Gabrielle Goodwin; brother, Richard I. Goodwin (Marie) and many loving extended family members and friends.
He is predeceased by a brother, John W. Goodwin, Jr. and John’s late wife Nancy.
