LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Scott R. Woodcock, 58, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, with entombment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the JMS Burn Center, 1416 Wainbrook Dr,, Augusta, GA 30909 Mr. Woodcock was born February 15, 1958 in Glen Falls, NY, and unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016. He was the son of the late Harold Ralston Woodcock and Emma Marie (Barnes) Woodcock. Mr. Woodcock was employed as a mechanic and truly enjoyed his work. He was a people person and loved spending time with family and grandkids. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and racing, but he mostly loved mud bogging. He was the life of the party anywhere he went. Mr. Woodcock is survived by his wife, Karen Woodcock of Pelion; children, Shawn Woodcock of Pelion, Shannon (Charlie) Mengedoht of Lexington, Shelby (Ricky) Padgett of Lexington, and Dakota Shane Woodcock of Clemson; step children, Gary Martin and Cody McGee, both of Pelion; brother, Bruce (June) Woodcock of Lexington; niece, Christina (“Weenie”); nephew, Bruce “Bob” Woodcock, Jr.; grandchildren, Cayden Mengedoht, Savanna Padgett, Tanner Mengedoht and Sophia Padgett. He was predeceased by his second wife, Bonnie Sue Woodcock.
