Sylvia Ann Pegram

Sylvia Ann Seagle Pegram, 85, passed away peacefully at home on October 6, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 16, 1936 in Pleasant Garden, NC. She was a daughter of the late William L. Seagle and Ruby Kanoy Seagle.

She was the first of 4 children, which included Willard L. "Bill" Seagle, Brenda J. Seagle Peavy, and James G. Seagle, Sr. Sylvia was married to Raymond C. Pegram (USN) on August 20, 1955.

She is predeceased by her brother, James G. Seagle, Sr.; and her husband, Raymond C. Pegram.

She was blessed with a family that she loved unconditionally. She is survived by her children, Joan M. Minton, Michael R. Pegram, William E. Pegram and Wanda Bowles Pegram; grandchildren, Sheryl Carlson Golden, Alex Golden, William "Luke" Carlson, Cayla Carlson, Brian Carlson, Michael T. Pegram, Katherine Shaw Brown, Kenneth W. "Wes" Brown, Jr., Michelle Pegram Weathers, Corey Weathers, Melissa Pegram Houk, and Matt Houk; great grandchildren, Malin Godfrey, Caleb Stanley, Evan Golden, Parker Golden, Keira Shaw, Dexter Shaw, Barrett Weathers, Bradlee-Ann Weathers, Everett Carlson, Allison Carlson and Audie Houk.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on October 12, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel, 820 W. Dunbar Rd., West Columbia, SC. A visitation will be held one hour prior at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel.

She will be laid to rest at Southland Memorial Gardens next to her husband, Ray, with her parents nearby.
