GASTON - Funeral services for Tommy L. Wadford, Sr. 72, of Gaston, will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Fish Hatchery Church of God with interment in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Pallbearers will be,

Tommy was born on January 26, 1941 in Richland County, SC and passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013. He was a member of Fish Hatchery Church of God. Tommy retired from the Army National Guard. He was mining for gold here on earth but now he struck it rich and is walking streets of gold. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Tommy is survived by his daughter, Bessie Renee Davis of Gaston and grandson, James Patrick Samuel Davis of Gaston. He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ann Evans Wadford and son, Tommy Lee Wadford. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
