Valerie L Sligh

COLUMBIA – A visitation for Valerie J. Libby Redick Sligh, 69, will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the residence, 820 Skyland Drive, Columbia, SC 29210. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.

Mrs. Sligh was born June 17, 1947 in Mapleton, ME and passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. She was a daughter of the late Lloyd and Irene Libby. Mrs. Sligh graduated from Presque Isle High School. She loved and adored her family and will truly be missed by all, including her Fur Babies, Sam and Kaci.

Mrs. Sligh is survived by her husband of 37 years, William E. Sligh; children, Kimberly A. Redick Herlong and Berkeley D. Redick II; five grandchildren, Berkeley D. Redick III (Bridgette), Whitney W. Champion (Adam), William R. Redick, Valerie J. Herlong (Zach), Dillon W. Redick; five great-grandchildren, Elizabeth E. Redick, Mason D. Redick, Jax W. Champion, William A. Redick, Sloane J. Champion; sister, Michelle L. Godsey; brother, Loren L. Libby (Kathy) and eight nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Bonnie L. Horton, and nephew, Bradly Libby.
