She was an active member of the Lexington Church of God congregation and retired from SCANA after 38 years of dedicated service. She loved to fish and hunt and was never far from her husband, Nathan Shirey‘s side.
She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Nathan; daughter, Rhonda Davis (Stanley); two granddaughters, Kristen Broome (William) and Marissa Davis; and sisters, Patricia Campbell (Lindsley) and Faye Shealy (Dial). She was predeceased by her brother, Felton Lindler (Sarah).
The family will hold a private service through Caughman-Harman Funeral Home at Southland Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026.
