Virgil retired from Dillard Paper Company after 35 years. He was a member of the Columbia Classic Chevy Club and loved his classic cars and riding dune buggies. Virgil enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Rabon; sons, Virgil Wayne Rabon, Jr. and Scott Rabon; sister, Virginia Atkinson; and brother, C.T. Rabon, Jr. (Marie).
He was predeceased by his sister, Brenda Owens.
A funeral service will be held for Virgil at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024 at West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, 350 Wattling Road, West Columbia, SC 29170, with a visitation to take place one hour prior to the service at the church. A burial will follow the services at Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
