LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Vivian Sweat Moore, 67, widow of Benjamin A. Moore, will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moore was born June 17, 1945 in Columbia, SC and passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Thomas Sweat and Vera Hayes Sweat. Mrs. Moore was an avid gardener.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her children, Pamela and Jerry Rengering of Irmo, Tammy and Tim Huffstetler of Gaston, Bill Shockey of Chapin and Mike Moore of Pelion; grandchildren, Jerry and Rachel Rengering of Chapin, Brittney Rengering of Columbia; Matt and Christa Huffstetler of Lexington, Nick Huffstetler of Gaston, Katie Huffstetler of Gaston, Hunter Moore of Pelion, Taylor Shockey of Chapin; great-grandchildren, Audrey of Chapin; Paisley of Lexington; sisters and brothers, Nellie Caulder, Tommie J. Gauntt, Samuel Sweat, Elbert Sweat and Helen R. Atkerson. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
