GASTON - William J. Thompkins “Bill” was born in Conway, SC to Marguerite Sarkis Johnson and James B. Thompkins and passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Jewel Thompkins; son, William J. Thompkins, Jr.; daughter, Cathy Lawrence of Aynor, SC; two grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. A service is planned for Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, West Columbia Chapel.
