I will always be grateful that you stood in the cold rain for hours to buy me tickets to see Elvis Presley when he came to Columbia back in 1977. I was very pregnant with Jesse, and Calvin had to work. You allowed me this once in a lifetime experience. I am ever so grateful for that gesture. I love you, little brother. You will be missed, but, oh, how I envy your view. 💔💔

Although this is a very difficult time for many, I just want to share a more light memory. I think it was 1980 the last time I saw Billy. He & I were talking & I kept apologizing as I could not understand him that well. Then I quickly remembered mom saying had a cleft palate when he was small, I then became overcome with embarrassment & told him it's not what you had when you were little, it's your ACCENT. He broke out laughing & I finally got past my Faux Paw ! I am proud to say we are cousins. May the road rise up to meet you Billy.
