

A celebration of Albert’s life will be held at 2 p.m., January 18, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Albert was born April 13, 1938 in Waco, Texas to William Albert and Ruby Mae (Everett) Kilgo. He graduated from La Vega High School in 1957 and later began his career with Western Electric retiring in 1990. Albert loved dancing his whole life; some would say he was the best dancer in Waco, Texas even in his later years. Bowling and golfing were some of his other hobbies and he was an avid Baylor Bear fan. Singing and playing music with his brothers and sisters could always be heard at family gatherings. He loved anything outdoors especially fishing, hunting and boating. Albert especially enjoyed coaching and watching women’s sports prior to it becoming mainstream.
He had a bigger than life personality and never met a stranger. Albert was always trying to help people in need and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Richard Kilgo and Norma Jean Jackson.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife of over 50 years, Joyce Kilgo; daughters, Lisa Frenette and husband Michael and Cindy Minor and husband Bill; grandchildren, Taylor Dicorte, Kyle Frenette, Blake Minor and Macy Minor; Siblings, Carolyn Bonjonia and husband, Don and George Kilgo and wife, Pam; brother-in-law, Larry Brock and wife Beverly and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
