I send my deepest condolences to Angel's children, grandchildren and his extended family.  I have the best memories of him visiting Carrizo Springs and of us visiting Angel and Anita in Indiana.  I treasure those memories and will smile when I think of them just as he smiled when we visited.  RIP and may perpetual light shine up on him.

While we are saddened by Tio Angel’s passing, we are also remembering and celebrating his life.  Love and kindness are two words that describe this remarkable man.  We will always remember his visits to Carrizo Springs, TX, his big smile, and warm and loving hugs.  Some of the best memories we have are of visiting him and Tia Anita in their home in Indiana.  He would greet us with a smile and a hug and say “hijo/hija it is so good to see you.”   We enjoyed listening to their stories, sharing a meal, homemade jam and getting a tour of their backyard filled with flowers, vegetables and fruit trees.  On a cold and snowy day in March we drove from Chicago to visit them.  While the sun was brightly shining the cold was overpowering and Tio Angel and Tia Anita talked about how cold that winter had been and how they didn’t spend much time outdoors during the winter months.  They laughed as these Texans took pictures and played in the snow.  We decided to try our luck at a casino near their home and invited them. They didn’t hesitate and quickly got dressed in their winter jackets and hats, forgetting all about the cold.  Even as Tio Angel’s health became frail his spirit and smile sparkled just as brightly as in his best days.  We take comfort in knowing that he is in Heaven reunited with his friends, family and his beloved Anita.

My deepest condolences too my tios family..  I'm gonna miss him so much especially when he would come to  Hammond Indiana to visit his daughter Rosy... My cousin would call  to let me know that my tio was in town...Me and my daughter Amanda  would go to see him...I m gonna miss those days 😢 Love you tio💕Rest In Peace ⚘️
