Barbara Ann Kaatz Barcuch
December 24, 1941 – September 13, 2011
Barbara Ann Barcuch, age 69, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Waco, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father John Guzaldo, Celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16th and Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Barbara was born on December 24, 1941 to Lillie (Peters) and A. O. Kaatz in Austin, Texas. She married Johnny Barcuch on November 28, 1964 in Granger, Texas. Barbara was a longtime resident of Waco and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She worked with K-Mart for 24 years as a retail clerk and also an assistant in the Human Resource Department. Barbara and her husband, Johnny were part of the Sunset Bowling League in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, A. O. and Lillie Kaatz. Barbara is survived by her husband, Johnny Barcuch of Waco; daughters, Laurie Cumming and husband, James of Ovilla, and Danna McKee of Athens; granddaughter, Kristi Treese of Ennis, TX; grandsons, Christopher Cumming and Chad Cumming both of Ovilla; sister, Gladys Canup and husband, Mark of Belton; brother, Mike Kaatz and wife, Vicki of Angleton; uncles, James Kaatz of Waco and Aubrey Weldon of Friendswood; several nieces and nephews.
