Beatrice L. Salazar, 83, of Waco, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, July 13, 2015 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in ASA Cemetery. Rosary will be recited on Sunday, July 12th at the funeral home.
Ms. Salazar was born in Downsville, Texas to Ynes and Matiana Salazar. In her younger years she attended Gurley School and Rosenthal School. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents and brothers; Tim, Blas, Tony and Felix and a sister; Kathy Lee.
She is survived by her brother; Lewis Salazar & wife, Sarah, brother-in-law; Gary Lee, sisters; Faye Mendez and Sally Chavez, sister-in-law; Della Salazar and many nieces and nephews.
“Miss Bea” as she was known was a resident of Greenview Manor Nursing Home for many years and we, the family would like to express our sincere thanks for the love and care they showed her over those years and also to Providence Hospice for their support.
