Darold was born October 19, 1957 to Kenneth Darold Fisher and Loydena Ruth Evartt. After high school he went to the United States Navy. He enjoyed traveling and seeing different places. Throughout his life he specialized as an auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, maintenance work, a carpenter, oil field work, and a long-haul truck driver. He took pride in his work and in all that he did. He wasn’t just a hard-working man, but a loving father, brother, and friend. Darold’s pride and joy was his daughter, Jackie.
If Darold wasn’t building something, then you could find him at the lake. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family around a campfire. There was just something about listening to music, telling old stories under the moonlight that would bring him peace at the end of a long day.
Darold is preceded in death by his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Survivors include his furry companion, Cocoa; Daughter, Jackie Allred (Chris); Grandchildren, Coy Nelson, Colt Nelson, Carlie Allred-Starck (Grayson), and Carmen Allred. Sister, Darla Chisholm; Cousins, Donna, Debbie, and Brian Fisher, and Joe Dan Denison; Niece, Chantal Weaver-Thomas (Jordan); Grandnephew, Dustin Roberts; and many friends.
