Diana Bowdoin

Heaven has received an angel of pure heart, Diana Bowdoin, 76, Friday, April 29, 2022 in Waco, Texas. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Waco Memorial Park with Dr. Joe Bailey officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.

Diana was born on December 31, 1945 in Waco, Texas to William Herman and Dolly Kathryn (Vessel) Tieman. She was a longtime resident of McLennan County. Diana graduated from Midway High School 1964. She attended 4-C (Central City Commercial College) 1966 in Waco. Diana married the love of her life, Charles C. Bowdoin on September 2, 1966 in Waco. They celebrated 50 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death December 2016. Diana worked as a longtime Day Care Worker and retired from Smead Manufacturing. She was a devoted member of Speegleville Baptist Church in Waco,Texas. Diana was especially known for her dedication of sending out cards for all occasions’ and encouraging others in her church, family and friends throughout the community. She enjoyed spending time with her family, faithfully reading her Bible daily, and her love of sewing. Diana is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, William Charles Bowdoin of Waco, Texas, and daughter, Lisa Bowdoin of Crawford, Nebraska.
