Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Friday May 23, 2014 at McGregor Cemetery.
Donald was born to Pinkney and Vera Guthrie in Waco, Texas on August 11, 1942.
He attended Midway Schools and specialized in Mechanical work most his life.
Donald was proceeded in death by his parents; sisters, Faye Kolb, Vergie Zilka, Margaret Guthrie, Dorothy Smith and Billie Kearney; brothers Buck Guthrie and Lloyd Guthrie; niece Pamela Guthrie.
Survived by his children; Gerald Guthrie, Bubba Guthrie, Barbara Sue Guthrie and Misty Guthrie and grandchildren.
Donald is also survived by his sisters, Rose O’Neal and Mary Brunson.
Donald was a shy, considerate man with a good heart. He did stray in his adult years but we know that he spent this time to reflect on his faith with the Lord. We hope and pray that he has finally found peace.
