

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors chapel with Rev. Wayne Jamie Hutson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and in her honor coffee and refreshments will served. An informal visitation will be held Friday, March 13, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Doris Marie Haney was a God fearing woman who was full of life. She had a special bond with each of her children and lived every moment to the fullest. She loved with all her heart and never met a stranger. She was our mother, teacher, neighbor, and most of all, our friend. She was always there to lend an ear, tell a story or offer up the best coffee in the entire world. We will never be the same without her.
Doris is preceded her in death by her parents, Ernest G. and Vera (Bodiford) Vieregge; the love of her life, Cleo Haney and siblings, Billie Jean Lamb, Ernestine James, Will Vieregge, Bernard Carl Vieregge, Dean Conder, and Beauford "Dutch" Doyle Vieregge.
She is survived by children, James Kenneth Pate, Beverly Jean Webb and husband Charlie Webb, Gary Glenn Pate, Lanny Keith Haney, Sidney Trent Haney and wife Lee Ann Haney, Brett Lane Haney, Rodney Kent Haney and fiancé Valerie van der Tooren; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family. She also was blessed with a special caregiver, Gena Russell.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Webb, Greg Vieregge, Jeffrey Haney, Roy Rodgers, Brandon Haney, and Jackson Webb. Honorary Pallbearers are: Levi Hamel, and Andy R. Sanchez Jr.
