Dorothy M. Enfield, 94, of Waco, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with Pastor Dr. Jim Cox officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault, Minnesota. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, on Monday, February 9th at the funeral home.
Mrs. Enfield was born on February 13, 1920 in Northfield, Minnesota to Imes Malone and Florence (Walden) Cunningham. She loved to read, embroidery, quilt, work in her garden, walking and water aerobics but her true love was her family. Mrs. Enfield was a member of the Church on the Rock in Bellmead and a former member of the Eagles and the VA Hospital in Waco. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a son; Robert Enfield.
Survivors include her daughter; Linda Massman and her husband, Ronald of Waco, sons; Edward Enfield and his wife, Irma of Smithville and Jerry Enfield of Faribault, Minnesota, sister; Helen Folger of Bedford, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
