Edward was born August 8, 1919 in Downsville, Texas. He was raised and spent many years in Bosqueville, a rural area within Waco. He was a lifelong member of Bosqueville united Methodist Church. He fervently loved his community, his church, his Lord, and his friends. He loved to recount memories involving his experiences on the farm and with his church and friends. In every way he was an honest, gentle, and caring Christian gentleman and demonstrated his faith through attitude and action. An accountant by profession, he believed strongly in the need for youth to get an education and develop a faithful work ethic.
