Eleanor E. Humphries, 94, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2010 at Rosemound Cemetery with Chaplain Merry Wilburn of Providence Hospice officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at Rosemound Cemetery.
Eleanor was born May 29, 1916 in Waco to Hugh and Ida Jones Nunn. She retired from Owens-Illinois after 30 years.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Dee Humphries; three sisters; and four brothers.
Those left behind to cherish Eleanor’s memory are her children, Kathryn Spivey, Hazel Trent and husband, James, Robert Earl Humphries; sisters, Mary Bryan, Faye Aycock and husband, Martin; 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 25 great great grandchildren and other relatives.
