I am so deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Felix Hurtado. I met Felix when I got the opportunity to play baseball with the Waco Missions. He helped coach the team, and he shared his knowledge and love for the game with me. He was the hardest worker; always hitting fungo to various players during practice. He would hit them so hard, and when you told him you were good and had had enough, he'd hit six more! His work ethic and dedication were inspiring. I will never forget the friendliness and acceptance he showed to me, so typical of everyone at the Missions Club. My most sincere sympathies are with Steve and Mary and their sons, Steve, Charles, Marty, David, and Eddie, and to all of his family and friends. Felix was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

We will miss you Felix,
You were always so happy to see us when we walked in to visit. Always asking our Aydon when his next football or baseball game was so you could come watch. You will truly be missed
