

Georgia Faye Munos Breeland, 89, went to be with her eternal heavenly Father on Monday, August 20, 2012. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Connally Compton Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Park with Providence Hospice Chaplin’s Greg Knippa and LeAnne Ryan Officiating.
Georgia was born on May 5, 1923 on Perry, Texas to John and Mary Bennett Munos. On April 29, 1942 she married the love of her life and soul mate for the next 68 plus years, Columbus Breeland. She spent the first 14 years of their marriage following Columbus across the country to numerous Naval Stations while he served with the United States Navy. They returned to Waco, Texas in 1957 where they fulfilled the rest of their days together and Georgia’s days were busy with being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her beloved husband, Columbus Breeland, preceded her in death on March 9, 2012. She is survived by daughter, Margaret and husband J.C. Landfried of Hewitt; sons John Thomas and wife Norma Jean Breeland of Dickinson; Norman Ray and wife Susan Breeland of China Spring; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
