Thank you each for sharing a memory of our Dad. I don't think any one person could ever know the the entire life of what and who is my Dad. To all those that loved him I offer you my condolences. For those that knew him even in passing I know you'll never forget my Dad. I knew him as many things and I can't describe him as anything that would encompass all that he was I can only say that he was my Dad and words just can't explain that. To my family, I love you.

Daddy, we have missed you for years, and years to come. I know in my heart that as a Christian man, you have ventured your way up north to be with the highest of the highest, the Lord our God, I just hope and pray that one sweet day, we will meet again on those golden streets. I pray for Gilbert Jr., that he may receive peace in his heart, he has had so much stress recently. Planning this funeral has been a long hard process, and he has taken the burden completely upon himself. Lord hear my prayer. Dad made a difference in so many peoples lives, not to mention, our country. He served in Vietnam 2 complete terms, so that we can have our freedom, and I thank him so much for that. I want to say thank you to all the friends and family for your condolences in this time of dispair. We accept any and all prayers, no matter what the content. We love you Daddy, and will forever cherish your memories. R.I.P.

I'm doing the best I can for you Dad. I know you would want this to be easier on me but this was never meant for one man to do. I love you Dad. I'm honored to call myself yours, and my last name would mean nothing to me if it did not mean that I am the son of Gilbert Arriaga.
