On Thursday, September 8, 2022, Harry Lee Neese, loving husband, and father of four, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 in Waco, Texas. He was born on October 1, 1938, in Waco to Herbert Walter Neese and Alma Wilhelmina Hempel Neese.
Harry attended Waco High School and joined the United States Air Force at age 17. After his Air Force service, he went on to work for the Federal Government for several years. Later in life he became a custom home builder in the Waco area and managed many rental properties there. He was also a classic car enthusiast and owned many beautiful classic cars. Harry lived a full and busy life, filled with family, friends and faith. He was involved with countless projects, trips and classic car shows during his later years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Alma, and brothers Wilbert, Varnell, and Eugene. He is survived by his wife, Mary Neese to whom he was married for 50 years. Also survived by his two brothers, Harvey Neese, James Neese, four children, Calvin Johnson, Paul Neese, Joy Turner and Frances Neese, grandchildren, Matthew Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Daniel McWhorter, and Kylie Allen and three great grandchildren John Robert Allen, Benjamin Allen, and Walker Wise.
He is dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
