Judy A. Young

Judy Young, 77, of Waco, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, at the funeral home.

Judy was born February 24, 1943 to Wells and Nona (Delabar) Bender in Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1961 Portsmouth, Ohio. Judy married the love of her life, Mikal Young in 1987 in Arizona. She was a longtime resident of Waco. Judy enjoyed water color painting and making quilts. Judy was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Mikal Young of Waco, daughters, Karen Grashel of Savannah, GA, Kathy Diddle and husband, Mark of Portsmouth, OH, and Nila Young of Bastrop; son, John Young and wife, Lisa of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Jason Diddle and wife, Tiffany of Portsmouth, OH, Jennifer Diddle of Portsmouth, OH, and Abigail Redman of Atlanta, GA; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Zeth, Braxton Diddle of Portsmouth, OH; and sisters, Suie Albrecht of Portsmouth, OH and Linda Bibb of Portsmouth, OH.
